• Providing my services as a virtual clinic or in-person, gives you the flexibility to have your sessions from the comfort of your own home if you cannot make it to the Northern Rivers.

The initial consultation is about getting to know who you are on a deep level… physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.

We will cover your personal and medical history, where you currently feel out of balance, and the priorities you have in order to feel supported.

I will work with you to create personalised health directives aimed at helping you achieve what ‘well’ means to you.

This may include herbal medicine, supplements, reviewing any recent pathology, discussing nutrition & stress management, considering further functional testing or referrals.

I aim to work collaboratively with your current health care team, holding an in-depth understanding of medications, and a vast knowledge on conditions and symptoms you may present with.

If there’s something I don’t know I’m very transparent, and I promise my clients I’m either going to spend hours researching for them, or I’m going to refer on to someone more knowledgable in that area.

It is sincerely my honour to support my clients, and I look forward to journeying with you on your health adventure.

  • What kind of practitioner are you?

I’m a degree-qualified naturopath and professional herbalist. I work clinically, not cosmetically. My approach blends biomedical understanding with traditional herbal medicine, nervous system regulation, and deep listening. I’m not here to “fix” you, I’m here to help your body remember how to heal.

    Who do you work with?

Mostly women (the occasional man or child) and gender-diverse folk navigating hormonal change (peri-menopause, menopause), fatigue, autoimmune and thyroid conditions, gut issues, and nervous system dysregulation. I also work with people who feel medically dismissed, burnt out, or disconnected from their bodies.

If your symptoms are complex or long-standing, you’re probably in the right place.

    Do you use herbal medicine?

Yes, thoughtfully, traditionally and latest research informed.

I prescribe bespoke herbal formulas when appropriate, not generic shelf products. Herbs are chosen for your physiology, constitution, energetics, and life context, not just your diagnosis.

Sometimes food, rhythm, and rest come first. Herbs are powerful, but timing matters.

    Is this evidence-based or intuitive?

Both, and neither is used carelessly. I’m medically literate and pathology-informed, and I also trust pattern recognition built through my clinical practice. Intuition without training is guessing. Science without wisdom is blunt. I work in the meeting place.

Will you tell me exactly what to do?

I’ll offer clear guidance, but I won’t micromanage your life. This is collaborative care. We work with what’s realistic, affordable, and sustainable for you, not perfection or pressure.

Do you replace my GP or specialist?

No. I work alongside conventional care, not against it. I’ll refer you back when something is outside my scope or needs further investigation. Your safety always comes first.

    What makes your work different?

I slow things down. I don’t rush appointments, chase trends, or overwhelm you with supplements. I pay attention to your story, your body language, and what hasn’t worked before.

People often say they feel seen here, not analysed, not sold to, not dismissed.

Is this right for me if I’m sceptical or tired of wellness culture?

Yes. You don’t need to believe in anything. You just need a body and a willingness to listen to it. I don’t do performative spirituality, toxic positivity, or “high-vibe” nonsense.

What if I’m sensitive, overwhelmed, or neurodivergent?

You’re so very welcome here. I work gently, at your pace, and with respect for sensory needs, trauma history, and capacity. Healing should feel supportive, not like another task.

  • I don’t offer quick fixes or miracle cures

If someone promises to “fix” you in a few weeks, be cautious. Complex bodies need time, consistency, and respect. I work steadily and honestly, not dramatically. I don’t force or push, I gently hold space.

    I don’t practise trend-based or influencer wellness

I don’t chase fads, viral protocols, or the supplement of the month. My work is rooted in clinical reasoning, traditional herbal practice, and what actually stands the test of time.

I don’t overwhelm you with supplements

More is not better. I prescribe conservatively and intentionally. Often we remove before we add. Your body isn’t broken, it’s usually overloaded.

I don’t bypass safety, pathology, or referrals

I won’t ignore red flags, dismiss symptoms, or work outside my scope. If you need medical investigation or specialist care, I will say so, clearly and without ego.

I don’t spiritualise illness or blame the patient

Your symptoms are not a moral failing, a mindset problem, or a lesson you didn’t learn fast enough.

I don’t force protocols that don’t fit your life

If something isn’t realistic, affordable, or sustainable, we don’t do it. Healing should integrate into your life, not take it over.

I don’t work from rigid dogma

No single diet, philosophy, or framework works for everyone. I’m not interested in purity culture or health identity politics. I care about what helps you.

I don’t treat people like problems to be solved

I listen. I notice patterns. I take your lived experience seriously. You are a whole person, not a collection of symptoms.

    I don’t promise certainty

Healing is rarely linear. I will be honest about what we know, what we’re exploring, and where the limits are. Truth matters more than reassurance.

    I don’t diagnose

That goes against naturopathic ethics & principles, and is for your GP or specialist to discuss with you.
