Jewels, like many health professionals, has a journey into health & wellness, that is deeply personal. She understands the profound impact trauma, illness, & hardship can have on the body, mind, heart & spirit, & the gentleness required to heal. She knows that life can be so beautiful, but the systems can be stressful & severe. Today, as a degree qualified naturopath, herbalist & student of shamanic practices, Jewels brings her lived experience & deepest compassion to every person she works with.
Jewels firmly believes that to experience better health, we must prioritise nurturing our nervous systems & supporting our gut health as the foundations for deep healing. By strengthening the nervous systems flexibility needed to feel safe in the societal structures & stories that so often narrate stress & suffering.
Her very personalised approach blends western herbal medicine, Bach Flower Essences, evidence-informed nutrition & lifestyle support, to create a safe “inner-world” & an ability to adapt to the stressors of our external environment.
While naturopathy is her purpose, Jewels’ love for the natural world was first sparked through her photography, a passion she still carries today.
Naturopathy and photography ask her to see the bigger picture while noticing the smallest details.
She listens deeply for the stories beneath the surface, always searching for ways to bring balance and light to those she’s in service to.
